Currently in Zeus a double click on a word selects that word. but there is no way to extend that selection when I need to select a couple of linked words. For example if I have a struct and I am working with a data item "default.mode.configuration" I would like to be able to double click on the word "default" to select it, and then holding the second click, drag the cursor to somewhere over the word "configuration" to select the entire name. This is the way Word and most of the other editors I have used seem to work.
Is there some configuration option I have missed, if not, would this be possible in a future release?
Thanks
Stan
Word Selection Mode
There is no such feature in Zeus but there is something similar.
If you double click on the "default" word, hold down the shift key and then click at the end of the "configuration" word it will extend the selection.
You can keep changing the selection by repeating the click provided you keep holding down the shift key.
But there is a small bug
For it to work as expected when starting the selection you must double click on the "default" word make sure to click at the start of the word, not in the middle of the word.
That bug will be fixed in the next release
