TabSmart how is it "toggled ON"

How does one enable the TabSmart option?

The smart tabbing are fully controlled by the keyboard mapping. In other words all you need to do use the Options, Editor Options menu, switch to the Keyboard Mapping section to edit the active mapping and bind the tab key to the TabSmart function.

But you could just as easily right you own smart tabbing macro and bind the macro to the tab key or you could use one of the other tab related keyboard functions:

Tab
TabSoft
TabHard
TabSmart

While on the subject of smart tabbing, smart indenting and smart braceing, unlike the tabbing feature, the bracing and indenting are control by the check box options found in the Templates section of the Document Type, but you can also trigger these two features using the SmartBrace and SmartIndent keyboard functions.
