Hi,
I am using version 3.97o which I know is very old. Does this version or future versions have the ability to show all characters?
I often copy code from internet sites and these often contain characters which do not show in my file editing

The only show characters option found in Zeus is the View, Whitespace menu option, which I am sure your version has.
Very old versions of Zeus had no support for UTF-8 and older version only had limited support, with proper UTF-8 support only being found in the latest of versions.
My two suggestions would be one of the following options:
Option 1. Download the Zeus Lite version from here: https://www.zeusedit.com/lite/index.html
That is a free version of Zeus and as it is the 3.98a version it is newer than your current version.
Option 2. Install the latest 64 bit version of Zeus from here: https://www.zeusedit.com/download.html
But note this version is a trial version and will only run for 55 days before needing the purchase of an activation key.
The default installation location for both of these versions will be different to your current Zeus install so you can run them side by side with your current version.
IMPORTANT: Do not install either version over the top of your current install

Many thanks for the information. I already purchased Zeus from many years back do I need to purchase again to get the later version or will my license key still work

As stated earlier, for very old Zeus keys, your best option would be to start using the Zeus Lite version as this will be a free upgrade: https://www.zeusedit.com/lite/download.html
For these older Zeus versions, that will also mean you get to use a much newer version of Zeus with more features, and best of all it will also be free.
So as a first option, this is also the best option.
