UTF-8 Support

Post by corelon »

Hello there.

I have been using your software for sometime and just an hour ago I bought the upgrade to the latest version.
The reason I upgraded was because of the Unicode/UTF-8 support.
Unfortunately I tried opening a UTF-8 document but I still get strange symbols instead of greek letters. The only option for UTF-8 that I discovered was in the Save as option.
Could you please shed some light on this as I love this editor and I want to keep using it.

By the way I tried sending an email to info@zeusedit.com which you have on the site but it bounced back..

Thanks a lot

Nick

Yes it displays properly (apart the square symbols that appear in place of new lines in UNIX format files). But otherwise the greek letters display properly

If the file contains double byte characters then it will not display correctly in Zeus. Zeus does not have support double byte characters.

I am not sure to tell you the truth :(
I know that I can view the file in several editors that support UTF-8.
Is there any way to check if the file contains double byte characters?

If you send the file as an e-mail attachment to jussij@zeusedit.com I will take a look at it. Make the subject of the e-mail reads Zeus UTF-8 File.
