The latest update to Bitdefender seems to think the zeus.exe is malware and as such it stops it form starting.
So if you're having trouble running Zeus, the solution is to find a better virus checker.

Several weeks back this issue was reported to BitDefender using their official false alarm page found here:

But there has been very little in the way of a response from BitDefender (noting more than an auto generated, please do not reply e-mail saying the false alarm report had been recorded).
IMHO that submit page is next to useless as all you can submit is a URL.
Why on earth that page doesn't allow the submitter to also submit a line or two in the way of comment about the issue seems rather stupid to me.
With so little in the way of feedback I'm beginning to suspect the the page does nothing more than auto e-mail and auto delete these submissions.
