I have just bought and installed the latest version of the Zeus IDE(p) on my up to date Windows XP machine.
When I open an option, such as 'Workspace Builder Utility' or some others, the new window is larger than the screen, preventing me from editing and applying any changes. The Editor/IDE is useless to me this way.
Any suggestions?
Option windows are too large
What screen resolution are you running
Also what DPI settings do you have set
I suspect you may have the DPI set to Large (i.e. 150 %).
What happens is that when the DPI is increased Windows automatically increases the size of all dialog boxes.
To test this theory check the DPI settings and make sure it is to medium.
Here is a link describing how to set the DPI:

To see if I could replicate the issue I did some testing on a Windows 7 machine.
What I did was as follows:
(1) I setup the screen in lanscape mode with the resolution set to 1920 x 1080 recommended size for the screen. So with this configuration the screen height is only 1080 pixels.
(2) I also set the DPI to it maximum of 150%
With this setup I then checked the two options dialogs:
(a) The Editor, Options dialog fits into the 1080 height with about 130 pixels to spare.
(b) The Document Type dialog fits into the 1080 height with about 50 pixels to spare.
I'll also take a look at this on a Windows XP box as well, to see if that behaves differently.
Is your vertical screen resolution less than 1080 pixels

Window size fixed
Jussij,
Thanks for your help.
The DPI has always been set to 100%(96 DPI).
I solved the problem by changing the screen resolution to 1024x768.
A little hard on my old eyes but I can bounce back and forth as needed.
Now I can advance to the next problem.

Good to read you manage to find a work around.
Screen size is a real problem. For a long time I made sure the Zeus dialogs worked on the 800x640 screen resolution.
But as modern screens now have double or triple that resolution, dialogs designed for 800x640 ended up looking like postage stamps

I know what you meanA little hard on my old eyes

Keep them commingNow I can advance to the next problem.
