Line Number Panel still there when Display Line Numbers off

I've had version 3.30e on XP for centuries,
upgraded to v397p on Windows 7 64 bit
Turned off DEP
copied old zConfig and zScript files
(saved backup copy of new and old)
The message board was extremely helpfully during installation. Thanks!
I've used eclipse, and will try out the new workspace features! Yeah!

Question:

My Navigator View is turned off.
Properties -> General -> Display Line numbers [unchecked]
The line numbers are gone, but the left panel is still displayed.
Can this panel be turned off?

To remove the margin completely just do this:

1. View, Line Numbers menu to turn off the line numbers
2. View, Folding, Fold Margin menu to turn off the folding
3. View, Line Bookmarks menu to turn off the bookmark indicator

Note: These settings are based on document type so you will have to repeat the steps for other document types that you use.
