version 395

Post by alan_m »

Hi,
I have a license for version 395 which I purchased in 2005. Sadly my laptop crashed last week and I have lost everything. I have tried to download version395f but the download is for version 397 and my license key does not work. Are you able to send me a link to the older version?

regards

This is the only 395 release available: http://www.zeusedit.com/z300/ze32v395z.zip

I should work with your key.

excellent, many many thanks for this.

What new features does 397 have over 395?

Is it possible to upgrade the license that I have?

What new features does 397 have over 395?

Considering there have been some 40+ releases (396a through 396z, 397a through 396n) since the 395z release, quite a bit has changed.

Some of the major changes are listed here: http://www.zeusedit.com/whatsnew.html

I would suggest seeing for yourself. You can run both versions of Zeus on the same machine, provided you make sure they are in different folders.
Is it possible to upgrade the license that I have?

Yes. See the bottom of the purchase page for details: http://www.zeusedit.com/purchase.html

It says that for current users you can upgrade to 3.97c, is this possible for me running 3.95?

The 3.97c version will work for any version that used an activation key.

So basically if the RegNet e-mail notification that you recieved after pruchasing the software just use that key.

But from memory, I think the 3.95 version is so old, it pre-dates the use of activation keys, so it will not work.

I just checked and all 3.95 versions did use activation keys.

So all 3.95 versions will upgrade for free to this 3.95z release: http://www.zeusedit.com/zforum/viewtopic.php?t=1000

But the 3.96 was an upgrade release so they will not upgrade to 3.96c version: http://www.zeusedit.com/zforum/viewtopic.php?t=1033
