The main reason I want to use Zeus is column editing. A previous forum exchange on the subject explained exactly what I need:

Does Zeus allow column editing?

Some very clunky and inconvenient work arounds were suggested but then the "admin" posted:

I have added this feature request to the Zeus todo list

This was over 3 years ago and yet I do not see column editing a la Brief, Codewright, JEdit.
1. Is it there and I just do not see it?
2. If not, do you actually intend to add it?

Unfortunately this feature is still on the todo list :(

Yes, that is the earlier posting.

Too bad you haven't done it because I like the rest of Zeus but cannot and will not program without column edit.

thanks anyway

The Fill Down and Over (i.e f_FillDnOver.lua) Lua scripts written by Petar Turkovic implements something similar to this ;)

IMHO Petar's script does a very nice job of implementing exactly this functionality ;)

But it is a scripting option, which probably means you'll also consider it to be clunky and inconvenient work around :(

In any case the script can be found here.
