Hi
It seems the upgrade policy is for each release. I assume that means if I upgrade from 3.95 to 3.96 I pay for that. What about the letter releases ie 3.95f to 3.95g ?
Any plans for a upgrade time period like some other software has ie upgrades are free for a year ?
Also can you point me in the direction of your license terms, I couldn't find them on the site or in the evaluation version I downloaded.

This is correct. An increase in the Zeus version number indicates a new set of features have been added to the software. The history.txt file found in the Zeus install directory list the major changes made between each version.
A letter indicates a patched release. These releases contain bug fixes and/or small feature enhancements. What about the letter releases ie 3.95f to 3.95g?
As of the version 3.95 release Zeus started to use registration keys and it is this new registration approach that now makes it possible to offer the patch releases.

Not really.
The Zeus development approach is that once all the major bugs of the current release have been eliminated, the code based is forked and development effort then focuses on adding new features/making enhancements in preparation for the next release.
This development effort usually takes about 8-10 months but once it is done a new release with an increased version number is made available, at which point the cycle repeats.
So in terms of upgrade policy any 3.95 key will always activate any 3.95xx release for an unlimited period, but with every major release, key will need to be upgraded.
The license details are displayed during the software installation process, but they are not copied to disk. I will change the installer to copy the license file to the Zeus install directory. Also can you point me in the direction of your license terms, I couldn't find them on the site or in the evaluation version I downloaded.
If you re-run the installation you will be able to see the license agreement, as you need to accept these terms for the installation to commence.
