Is there a way to see in the Navigator which function I am currently editing in the editor window? The functions tab in the Navigator shows the list of functions for the window, but the highlight doesn't move if I change the function I'm editing in the document window.

Unfortunately not.

The functions tab in the Navigator shows the list of functions for the window, but the highlight doesn't move if I change the function I'm editing in the document window.

As you have found out, this function list only lets you navigate to a function by double clicking an item, but it is not dynamic
