The following command will open file "testfile.txt" and allow me to edit it :
"C:\Program Files\Zeus\zeus.exe" testfile.txt
but how do I open a file in read only mode from the command line ?
I cannot seem to find a Zeus command line option to do it.
I had thought there might have been the typical "-r" or "-R" option to do this e.g
"C:\Program Files\Zeus\zeus.exe" -R testfile.txt
The reason I ask is that some programs allow you to specify a "Viewer"
(e.g Total Commander) for looking at text files and I would like to specify
Zeus as my viewer and since you are just "looking" at the file and have
no intention of editing it, the file of interest should be opened in a read
only mode.
Also, can Zeus show me the total number of characters in the current file ?

You are correct in that there is currently is no way to do this in Zeus

I had thought there might have been the typical "-r" or "-R" option to do this e.g
I will look to add the -r command line option added for the next release.
