Speeling checker

Hello,

I mistakenly added a word to the spelling dictionary. What is the best way to remove this word. I found it in the dictionary file. Is it safe to just delete it there or is there a perferred way?

Hi Jack,

I would suggest using the Spelling, Options menu, select the dictionary and use the export export buttong to export that dictionary.

You can then edit this export text file, adding/removing any words. Finally delete the current dictionary and create a new dictionary by importing this text file.

I would suggest a backup the zSpell directory befor you do this just in case

Thanks for the reply. How do I import? I don't see any option for that. I'm using Zeus 3.95t

Never mind. I just discovered that the NEW button reads in a text file. I saw the button but expected it to read a dictionary file.
