Hello,
Will AgentSVN eventually be modified to support PowerBuilder Classic 2019 and Visual Studio 2019?
Thanks,

AgentSVN Support for PB 2019 and VS 2019
Re: AgentSVN Support for PB 2019 and VS 2019
Hi Don,
Since Agent SVN is a MS-SCCI provider, that means it will only work with editors/IDEs supporting that interface.
I'm not up to speed on what is changing in PB 2019 and VS 2019 with regard to their support for MS-SCCI, but if that support is removed from those version, that also means both Agent SV and Agent Git will no longer work.
A quick Google search found this link which does suggest for PB 2019 at least that might be the case.
https://community.appeon.com/index.php/ ... e-with-tfs
From that link there is this quote: But of course, MSSCCI is still in PowerBuilder 2019 for backwards compatibility reasons.
That suggests Agent SVN and Agent Git should still work with PowerBuilder 2019 since both of these source control providers work fine with those older MSSCCI versions of PowerBuilder
Cheers Jussi

Re: AgentSVN Support for PB 2019 and VS 2019
I did some testing of Agent SVN using the Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2019 edition and that version of the IDE still list Agent SVN in the Visual Studio Tools, Source Control panel:
I continued that testing to see if MSVS 2019 still worked with Agent SVN and from what I could tell it worked just fine.
So it appears that MSVS 2019 does in fact still support for MS-SCCI
Cheers Jussi

Agent SVN and Agent Git both work with the latest version of Microsoft Visual Studio 2022.
IMPORTANT: Since VS 2022 is a 64 bit only release that means the corresponding 64 bit version of Agent SVN and Agent Git also need to be used.
