How to use as non-admin?

I use my computer as a non-admin user to minimize my exposure to malicious code and to protect me from my own stupid mistakes. I have trouble using Zeus without being admin, because I can't change any options without being admin. Is there a way to make the options specific for each user instead of global for all users?
