Until recently I have been able to open Zeus as normal on my Window8 machine. Within the last week it will not open. The hour glass spins a few times and then goes away.
I downloaded 3.97s to see if that would solve the problem, but it didn't.
I removed Zeus from my computer and then reinstalled a fresh copy, but it still won't open.
Any suggestions?
window 8 and Zeus

So what changed

When you start Zeus can you see the zeus.exe in the task managerAny suggestions?

Try deleting the Zeus.ini file which should be here:
Code: Select all
C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Xidicone\Zeus
Code: Select all

zeus and windows 8
I have the same problem. When I install Zeus there are no errors occur. When I try to run Zeusedit, I get an hourglass for a couple of seconds and then nothing.
I have checked all the folders listed in this topic and they are all there. I have tried running as administrator and nothing.
I am not a first time user and have had years of experience with Zeus, but with this version it just is not running. I worked fine after I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8 and then quit working.
I have completely uninstalled the program and all the files and then reinstalled it, but it still did not run.

Does the Program Compatibility Assistant utility report any issues

I don't see why this would be the case.I have a 32" monitor running @2560x1600 resolution. Would this have any affect on running the program?
Did you change to that monitor and only after that notice Zeus did not work

As I posted in my first reply to this issue, what has changed

If Zeus was running and then stopped running something must have changed.
Was there a Windows update

Was some virus software installed

etc. etc.
The big question is what is it that has changed

Also are you too running the Zeus 3.97s version
