jussi:
you include the fixedsys font in the list of available fonts in zeus.
fixedsys doesn't seem to be included in the fonts microsoft offers nowadays (at least on my machine) (i have windows xp pro) and i can't find it on the internet.
would you mind telling me how to get it and how to include it in a program like you have included it in zeus or point me to a good reference or something.

fixedsys font
jussi:
thanks for your response.
upon further investigation i have found (on my machine, anyway) that:
1) the name of the file that contains the fixedsys font has been obfuscated (it is vgafix.fon)
2) it and, i believe, all of the raster font files were hidden.
3) the name displayed by explorer in c:\windows\fonts is the font name, not the file name.
4) none of the raster fonts (plus a bunch of others) had not been "installed".
5) there is a switch (that can be set in (where else?) control panel/fonts/tools/folder options/truetype fonts) to "Show only TrueType fonts in the programs on my computer".
6) visual basic 8 (unlike visual basic 6) supports only truetype and opentype fonts.
other than that, NO PROBLEM!!!
