You've got it exactly ... I really don't want my editor to mess with my code, I just want it to reflect what I type.

I've always found that "smart" templating/editing just breaks my train-of-thought as I'm coding.

The only "smart" keymapping that I'm still using is TabSmart ... and that's because ...

Thanks, I'm already using "Enter" instead of "EnterSmart" ... so perhaps my problems are with "MarkPasteSmart" ... I'll switch that out next.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I'll switch my keyboard to MarkPaste and see if that fixes my problems.

How can I actually disable auto-indent.

I want TABs instead of SPACEs at the start of lines.

I have disabled "Tabs as spaces" (actually tried it both ways).

I have disabled everything possible on the Template properties tab.

And yet ... Zeus keeps on mixing TABs and SPACEs at the start of the line,
often with a TAB or 2, followed by ...

OK, thanks, I'll give that a try.

I took a look at the *-coloring.ext files in a hex editor and saw that they embed the file name within the data and didn't realize that it wasn't important and would be ignored :)

That makes sense, but AFAIK, I'm running with Win7's default settings.

I've just looked around and my "Custom DPI" setting is at 100% and "Use Windows XP style DPI scaling".

My Control Panel -> Display -> "Make it easier to read what's on your screen" is set to "Smaller - 100% (default)".

I'm ...

Can I apply color schemes globally?

I'm setting up a custom color scheme, and so am making frequent tweaks to it as I narrow in on my own personal idea of "perfection"

When I make a change to a color in the scheme in the current document, I would like that change to apply to all of the document types that use that same scheme ...

Status Bar fields blink on Win7 x64.

I'm running Zeus 3.97s on Win7 x64 on 3 different machines with 3 different graphics cards, and on all of them the Status Bar's "MOD"
and "clock" fields briefly blink 2 or 3 times a second as they're redrawn.

The other fields "ASCII", "INS", "Ln:99 Col:47" are completely solid and do not blink ...

Re: Change search window position?

As I mentioned to you on the MultiEdit forums when I recommended Zeus ...
None of them offer ALL the features of MultiEdit, but most of them offer some useful things that MutliEdit can't do ... it's a trade-off.

MultiEdit's window splitting capabilities and general document arrangement really ...

Re: Perforce Jam Build Tool

Perforce Jam
Jam is a software build tool that makes building simple things simple and building complicated things manageable.

Jam is a wonderful build tool IMHO, and I've been using it for years on complex projects.

Development on the original Perforce Jam stopped years ago.

FTJam is a ...
