Export and import of key mappings

Hi,

Is it possible to export the BriefEx keymappings and re-import them under a different name ?

If so could you explain step by step ?

Or is this just a backup and restore option ?

I've been trying to do this and struggling, I want to adapt the BriefEx mapping to my own use rather than starting from a blank mapping.

(Oh and thanks for your patience answering all my questions recently.)

Yes.

If so could you explain step by step?

Options Editor Options menu
Goto Keyboard Mappings panel
Select keyboard map to be exported
Hit export button and save map to text file
Type in new keyboard mapping name
Hit import button to import previously exported keyboard file

The export file is just a text file, so it can be edited in any text editor.
