Re: Run as Admin Tools

Using the Options, Editor Options menu and in the General panel there is an Debug tools macros and executables option. If you turn on that option you will see what command line Zeus is trying to run. If you then use the Tools, Dos Shell menu you will get to a command prompt. In that prompt run these...

Re: Run as Admin Tools

Hi Jack, It works from a cmd window if I right click and select run as admin. Why this works is because when you right click and select run as admin you are running the cmd prompt with admin rights and that means when you then run your cmd file it also runs with those same admin rights. However, whe...

Re: Context menu items and associations not getting setup at install

Is there a problem here or am I just screwed up. I think the issue is with the newest Zeus installer. The old Zeus installer always required admin rights to run and this was always a source of negative feedback The new installer now gives the option for either a local or admin installation and it d...

Re: bringing Zeus to foreground when a file is opened

This issue has been replicated on a Windows 7 machine and a possible fix is being worked on.

When a working fix has been found a new beta release will be made available a note will be posted to this thread with a download link to that beta version..

Re: bringing Zeus to foreground when a file is opened

As a simple test using Windows 10 and I set up Windows Explorer so that all .cpp files would be opened in Zeus. I could see the change take effect as all the .cpp files took on the Zeus icon inside Explorer. However, when I double click on any of these files they always brought Zeus to the foregroun...

Re: bringing Zeus to foreground when a file is opened

When I open a new file by double clicking in some other APP like Windows explorer or ZTree, the Zeus window remains in the background. I will need to do some investigation into this to see if this can be fixed. As it stands now, the Zeus icon on the status bar starts flashing but the Zeus window re...
