So the slow loading was caused by the tags make which is done when the workspace is loaded. But I am not sure why the make is taking so long to run on your workspace :? Well, when I switched on the internal process, then it became as speedy as you described. Could it be, that the external ctags.exe...

202 files, approx. 30 of them HTML, the others mostly Javascript and a very few simple text-files. They are within 9 projects and maybe 10 folders. I measured the startup of the project (I removed the project from Zeus startup (closed it before closing Zeus), so I reloaded it manually. It took 3:28 ...

Okay. My current project's startup-time lasts four mintues. It may be, that it was me who misunderstood the right use of the projects. I store several projects in different folders and have them all in the same Zeus Workspace, since that seemed the most logical to me: Workspace (of related projects)...

Exceptions for Workspace/Tags

Hi!

I store several complex Javascript/HTML files (different TiddlyWiki incarnations) in my workspace. Rebuilding the workspace lasts pver two minutes each time something gets added to the workspace. Is there a way to exclude certain files from this process ?

Re: Slow menus and importing workspaces

2) Is there a way to import my Visual Studio .dsw files? Although this post is over two years old I'd like to mention, that it may be possible. However, I do not know VisualStudio, but seeing from some source-distributions I get the feeling, that most of the meta-data of a project is being stored i...

The Tag Builder is just like Zeus in that it runs the xTags.exe to generate the tag information. So you should see this exe getting started and then ending for every file in the tag database. Jussi, I just wanted to mention, that there is no xtags.exe in the process tree when building the tags data...

I have managed to find the problem :D Rimshot! Tataaa ! Congratulations! As was suspected there is a bug in the Lua scripting module which is triggered after about 160 Lua scripts have been executed. That's a funny bug, imo. There will hopefully be a new scriptlua.dll ready for download in the next...

I also think it has something to do with how long Zeus has been running. Not here ! It happens within 15 minutes. I had about 6 crashes yesterdays in the timespan of 3 hours or even less. Over the next few weeks I am going to try to track down the cause of this issue ;) Poor boy ;-) You might want ...

I managed to build a database yesterday. It took a few hours (P4@2.8GHz, 800MB od 2GB RAM free) but then it was done. It seems, the last time (when it finished) the database got written at the end. That would mean, that the first time it indeed hung. I have a pretty huge Python24\Lib\site-packages.

Cursor leaves visible window area when hitting Enter at EOF

When I hit ENTER at the EOF the cursor moves below the visible area of the text window. As soon I enter some text, it snaps into position.

HTML keywords all uppercase ?

Jussi,

do you have any script to lower-case the HTML keywords ? This is how it should be done these days. I tried to write a script, but did not want to mess around with the binary config data. Doing all manually is tedious.

Thanks.

This I got as well, however, it happened twice within 10 minutes, while I was editing some Javascript macro, not while executing it! Oh wait ! It may happen via macro-execution, since I have the lineup.lua and the linedown.lua, that you posted in another topic on UP and DOWN cursors. I also got anot...
