Awesome! I've tried it briefly and it appears to work fine - I'll give it more of a workout tomorrow. Thanks!

That's pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. What would maximize do? As I recall, when I maximize one window they all get maximized. Anyway, being able to do that would let me accomplish exactly what I want by minimizing all, calling up the FileListDisplay, selecting the windows I want, restorin...

Never mind - found the answer. This is apparently caused by a security update of Microsoft's.

Quick Help

I downloaded the CHM file mentioned in the quick help link for Lua and installed it for the Lua document type. The index comes up fine, as does contents, but the main area of the help page shows Navigation to the Web Page was Cancelled first, then the address is not valid. I don't seem to have that ...

What I do when I want to use MDI windows is to minimize all, then restore the ones I want (which cascades them), then tile them either vertically or horizontally. It seems like this should be do-able programmatically. I'm guessing that adding a window to the mix or opening another file might be a bi...

Window Setup help

In the Document List window, it would be useful to be able to select multiple files/buffers, then have a context menu option to manipulate the windows for those files. Specifically, cascade, tile, tile vertically, and tile horizontally would be very useful. Minimize and restore might also be helpful...

Question on File Saving before compile

It seems to me I saw an option that determined if a File,Save should be done before running a Compile always or only if the file was "dirty". The only compile/save option I can find now is the one that specifies whether to save all files before the compile or not. Was I seeing things? Is there are w...

Jussi,

This appears to happening only on listing files, not source files. Other than line length and trailing spaces, I'm not sure I see the difference between these, but I definitely observe the different behavior. Both files are CRLF terminated.

This is 3.96r.

Problem with Find and scrolling

Jussi, Using the Find dialog box to find strings, when the match is found on the currently displayed "page", everything works fine. However, when the text needs to scroll, it scrolls too far and scrolls the text found off the top of the screen. For example, I find text at line 26631. The find dialog...

FileInsertAtCursor

How does FileInsertAtCursor work? I'm assuming that a file is inserted in to the current document at the cursor position. Is the name of the file to be inserted passed as an argument to FileInsertAtCursor?

Are there other keyboard functions (macro functions) that take parameters?

Jussi,

Files are being saved locally, on a machine with lots of memory and without much else going on. The machine is generally running a VM, however.

Thanks for the clarification.

I think the ability to pass parameters from the "command line" would be very useful, so please consider this as a future feature request.

A Question

Lately I've noticed an appreciable delay between the completion of the write during a save and removal of the * on the tab and later the title bar. I don't recall this ever taking any noticeable amount of time before. This may have started with 3.96q, but I'm not certain. It's not a big deal, but is...

Macro arguments

I'm having trouble running a macro and passing a command line parameter. I have a script whocalls.lua in zScript. When I press F10 and type whocalls LUBIN, I get an error saying error loading script 'c:\Program Files\Zeus\zScript\whocalls.lua LUBIN'. It appears that the "command line" isn't being pa...

Thanks for the quick reply. The wild card search works well, except when the tag name has a period in it. I get an empty result set in that case, even though I can see those tags is the class browser.
