I *think* it's working now. Hard to say since my original request was buggy to begin with. What I was searching for and replacing was actually working. The indenting I thought I was seeing was from the leading spaces no being removed. So that's all cool. I did try searching for " +<br>\n" and replac...

3.96oB

For me the problem still persists. I installed the new patch over top of my existing Zeus (backed up first of course!) and opened Zeus back up. Then I used Send To to send files to Zeus and within 2 or 3 of them the problem appeared where the file would load but the Zeus window would disappear, even...

Screen Bottom Issues

And no, these aren't the same bottoms as being featured in that bit of spam that seems to have gotten past your filters. I've found that if I've got my Zeus window at full height and I cursor down to the end of the file, and the cursor is past the bottom of the screen then I can paste lines of text,...

\n

I have a registered version of 3.96o, which I just recently upgraded to via the usual way of overwriting over my 3.96n version of Zeus. I finally got around to trying out the new and improved \n support and noticed something a little odd, for me at least. I was searching for instances of "<br>\n" an...

Yeah, that whole "Don't mind me while I just pop this window up over top of what you where doing. Oh, were you typing something? No mind, I'll just take whatever that was an apply it to this window? Oh, somehow I seem to have reset your login password to whatever random characters you were typing. H...

I've noticed this as well. I just assumed it was my version of XP here at work since my home one doesn't do that. I do admit that "it's never done that before" and I have just recently upgraded to v3.96 (now on 3.96o). I'll have to keep an eye on this and see if there's anything consistent about this.

Update

Yeah, it does look like the EOL handling is a bit off. I can appreciate needing a /r/n when we were dealing with teletypes, but really, shouldn't that silliness have disappeared, oh, around 30 years ago??? I always liked the Brief regex's because they were *SIMPLE*, but even with them, I couldn't al...

Update

I think I'm getting to the end. I've got most of the file types worked out and am just finishing up my main macroes. Hmm, this is funny. 3.95z exported my extra C++ keywords as "BOOL__int64long64size_tstringwstring" Only, not. If I pasted that string into here or changed Zeus to read UNIX files and ...

I've gone and copied that macro code into my stub so that I don't forget for next time. Silly me! Although I still seem to be having my problems with the mark not being cleared after a macro is run, even after putting screen_update() in where it should be. I gotta look more into that. When I get som...

Dang! I keep forgetting all the really great tools you've got in the tools menu! I swear that Zeus is 1000 times greater than I'm even aware of. WHOA! You got HTML verification! Nice! I'm just learning all about that stuff. This will come in handy. I need to look into that. I need to find something ...

The colourizer works okay for HTML. It gets the gist across and that's what's most important. Maybe it's not "perfect" but it works for me. I think part of it is because HTML isn't set up like a regular programming language. You'd almost have to fully parse it to figure out what was what. That's a g...

I *finally* implemented your PrintLine() from a while back: http://www.zeusedit.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=981&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 Works like a charm! I think most of the bugs on that old issue are now all resolved. I'm not doing any heavy coding at the moment, and what I am doing is all...

I'll have a look at the SmartIndenting and let you know. Ah. COBOL. It's been a while since I had to read COBOL. And I hope I never have to work with it again! Yeah, I've noticed that the HTML colouring is awkward at best. It's a tough one. Just now I'm noticing that if I do something like <h1><h2><...

Update HTML

What's the usage for the "Keywords take precedence over delimiters" checkbox in the Keywords properties dialog box? It's checked for HTML but only if I uncheck it do my keywords get highlighted, which seems the opposite of how I would think it would work. Which means I'm probably thinking backwards ...

Okay, now the General tab of the Editor Options isn't sticking so I can't easily compare my settings. That is an odd one. Okay, I cheated. I took a screen-snap of the two different Editor Options/General tabs. That does the trick! There. I *thought* I wasn't getting the right characters showing up b...
