Re: Oh no...that dreaded .dll file is ruining everything

Now that runtime dll has been causing trouble for decades and Microsoft has changed the way developers should handle this dll at least once or twice. For early Windows the software had to install the official Microsoft runt...

Re: Stop tab stops from displaying

Those vertical lines look like the line indentation markers.

Those are controlled at a per document type level so with the file active use the Options, Properties menu and in the General section turn off the Display line indents option.

Re: Versioned Backup Files

While using your macro I did run into this issue. I fixed this with the following code change towards the top of the macro ;) # this macro expects to be passed at least two arguments if zeus.argc() < 2: return # ignore any un-named files if not zeus.is_named(): return Cheers Jussi

Re: Save All files, not producing .bak files for updated files

That does look like a bug, which, if confirmed should be fixed in the next release. One workaround would be to use a script attached to the file save trigger and have the script write the backup. There is and example of just such a script here: http://www.zeusedit.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=691...

Re: Searching for \n

By design, the default search (i.e. even with regular expression turned off) recognises the \n mnemonic. The same is true for the '\t' tab character. So this means if you want to search for the \ character you need to delimit that character. In other words to search for: \n will require the followin...
