Hi John, I'm trying to write a script and have run into a problem on the first step At first macros can be a little difficult but with a bit of practise they do get easier :) Now I' m wondering if there is a zeus way of determining if there is a word at the start of the line This Lua macro will test...

Hi John, Eventually I worked out how to get rid of all the default macros Just to better understand what is happening, if a macro is bound to a particular document type then that macro will only appear in the macros menu if you are currently editing a file of that document type. But if the macro is ...

Unfortunately when it lines me up under the comment line, as in the first post, it is still full of spaces not tabs so backspacing remains a pain. I've made sure the option to turn tabs into spaces is NOT set. Unfortunately there is no option to change this behavour since Zeus is actually designed ...

1) Can't call up static class members This is definitley a problem with the intellisensing that will be fixed in the next release. 2) Can't handle overloaded methods. This issue is more difficult to address as it is dependent on the information produced by the ctags program. There are instances whe...

Given that the box is not checked, shouldn't that mean that the search does not use regular expressions? This looks like a bug in the find in files dialog box :( The regular expression check box does nothing at all to the xfgrep.exe command line. The other check box options map to a xfgrep.exe comm...

Hi Omer,

I created a new text file and found that this spells correctly:

"primary"

but this does not:

"primary

So this definitely looks like a bug :(

For the other case this will spell correctly:

units'

provided the ' is defined as a delimiter character of the document type.

How do I Select-Drag an entire line or PART of a line or PART of a word or PART of anything or MANY lines at once ? I am assuming you are referring to some form of mouse marking :?: Zeus supports mouse controlled cut and copy :( For example it is possible to select some text with the mouse, click o...

Hi Jack, Inside an editor window, if I switch to overwrite mode by pressing the "insert" key, the cursor disappears. Unfortunately this disappeaing cursor problem has been in Zeus for many years. Over the years I have personally seen this bug on several occasions, but to this day I have not been abl...

I choose another editor over this one. One reason was that I didn't like that it renamed my text file something like "Zeus File" when a user right clicked the desktop and select new. I changed the association for the file back to notepad. Others use the computer and get confused. Also, I didn't wan...

The function list and the ability to navigate up or down in a file by function is great. I assume by this you mean the View, Next and Prevous Functions menu items. I agree entirely and personal uses this feature of Zeus most of all :) How about allowing these features to work with C++ operations? I...

I also use non-admin. I installed Zeus while logged in as Administrator, but use it logged in as User. When I attempted to run Zeus, I get the message, "The software trial period has expired....". I am not sure what you mean by non-admin :?: All the Zeus configuration details are stroed in configuration files in the zConfig directory. The only time Zeus stores information in the windows registry is when it forced to (ie SCC source control info etc). What error message is generating if Zeus is...
