Hi Jack, Although the class browser doesn't contain any information about the typedef, a C++ knowledgable brower should cross reference a typedef'ed variable to the declaration. With enough parsing and processing of course anything is possible, but I personally do not think that writting a compiler ...

Hi JN, I know it may seem strange to map to the numlock key, but I've always wanted to configure an editor to look like the old Vax edt editor. Unless this editor uses a Vi like modal keyboard style, my gut feeling is it should be possible to get the emulation quite close. But if you run into any pr...

Is there a way to list ftp server directory listings in the Navigator window? Unfortunately this is not currently possible :( Currently the only way to get a server directory listing is to use the File, Open URL menu and then use the browse button from the resulting dialog. I have used this in the ...

Can you tell me which version of windows and with what level of service pack are you running? Zeus uses the Microsoft HtmlHelp for it's online help and for older versions of Windows the HtmlHelp does not work unless some of the later service packs have been applied :( This might also be a bug with t...

Hi John, This can be demonstrated by me creating a new document, hitting tab then typing a word and hitting return. But this is a special case :) Since the tab was entered on the first line of the document, Zeus has no "line above" to use as a guide on how to fill in the tab. So in this case it goes...

Hi John, Now the macro does get called but doesn't operate properly. You have called the macro on an empty line when testing it, and it will work correctly then. However if you call it on a line that has a single word on it you should find that it behaves differently when you call it from the menu o...

I will also add this feature to the todo list :) In the mean time if you use $W as the search string, this Zeus macro tag will substitute for the current word from the currently active document. Alternatively you can use $WEX which substitutes for the current marked text or the current word if no ma...

Hi Chris,

My first impression is that the code changes required to achieve this feature might be quite considerable :(

But I have put the feature on the Zeus todo list just to see if it is possible.

I would say that it should be possible, but I will first have to take a look at the Zeus source code just to make sure. In any case the option has been added to the Zeus todo list.

Hi Chris, Is there a way to have the output of Find In Files (fgrep) sent to the same window each time. Unfortunately there is no way to achieve this. The reason is Zeus allows you to run any number of concurrent searches. For example assume you are running a long search. While this search is runnin...

Hi John, I'm trying to write a script and have run into a problem on the first step At first macros can be a little difficult but with a bit of practise they do get easier :) Now I' m wondering if there is a zeus way of determining if there is a word at the start of the line This Lua macro will test...

But if the macro is ...

Unfortunately when it lines me up under the comment line, as in the first post, it is still full of spaces not tabs so backspacing remains a pain. I've made sure the option to turn tabs into spaces is NOT set. Unfortunately there is no option to change this behavour since Zeus is actually designed ...
