Hi Zeus Team

I've just read about the Zeus IDE for the first time today and wanted to give it a try. Then I saw the "Crash Challenge" on the website and started to try out some random stuff to make the program crash. I think I've found a reproducible way to crash the IDE on my Windows 10 system:
  • Start Zeus in Version 3.98zm
  • Click on Help -> Enter Registration Code
  • In a text editor, prepare a string with 7200 times the character 'a' (e.g. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... I can't post the full string here because of the spam filter)
  • Copy the string
  • Paste the string into the registration code field in Zeus
  • Click Apply Code
  • IDE crashes without showing any error popup and without any error log / dump

The reason you did not get a crash dump is because Zeus did not crash. When Zeus detects a registration key that is non-sensical it just closes the IDE.

That behaviour is by design.
