I've just read about the Zeus IDE for the first time today and wanted to give it a try. Then I saw the "Crash Challenge" on the website and started to try out some random stuff to make the program crash. I think I've found a reproducible way to crash the IDE on my Windows 10 system:
- Start Zeus in Version 3.98zm
- Click on Help -> Enter Registration Code
- In a text editor, prepare a string with 7200 times the character 'a' (e.g. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... I can't post the full string here because of the spam filter)
- Copy the string
- Paste the string into the registration code field in Zeus
- Click Apply Code
- IDE crashes without showing any error popup and without any error log / dump
