Zeus not starting

Good day:

Windows 7 professional X64 - fully patch
I install Zeus and when i go to run it - i get a short busy, then nothing.
there are no messages on the screen
I've rebooted and removed and reinstalled the application and it still does not work

Here is the error message that shows up in the Application Event viewer

I suspect you have some third party virus detection software running that is stopping Zeus from running :?

As an example the latest update from Bitdefender wrongly reports Zeus as malware and stops it running as described here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7499

It could also be a local security policy similar to this issue: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6719&p=9886&hilit=server#p9886

One other think you might try is running Zeus on another machine or in a VM.

As to the question of whether there are any known issues running Zeus on the Windows 7 Professional X64 OS :?:

There are no such issues and in fact I'm writing this response on that exact same Windows OS and Zeus is running just fine ;)
