Two issues (version 3.97u):
a - 'home-home' and 'home-home-home' don't work ('end-end' and 'end-end-end' do work).
b - numeric keypad 5 working incorrectly: it moves just the cursor to the vertical center of the window (thus moving the cursor to a different line), should scroll window contents so that the cursor (and the line it's on) are in vertical center of window.

Thanks for sending in the bug report.
a - 'home-home' and 'home-home-home' don't work ('end-end' and 'end-end-end' do work).
I can't replicate this issue at this end
What regional keyboard settings are you using
Also, could you run this test:
- Use the Options, Editor Options and use the Keyboard panel to editor edither the Brief or BriefEx mappings
- Type in the Home key and you should see that the function mapped to that key is the MoveDocumentStartEx
- If it is not bound to that function then selected the MoveDocumentStartEx function and hit the assign button
If this was already mapped, as I suspect it was, do we agree on how the home-home-home works
For me it means
start of line, start of page, start of document and that is the behaviour I'm seeing.
b - numeric keypad 5 working incorrectly: it moves just the cursor to the
vertical center of the window (thus moving the cursor to a different
line), should scroll window contents so that the cursor (and the line it's
on) are in vertical center of window.
This does look like a bug as the that key is bound to the
MovePageCenter function.
To fix this just edit the keyboard map as before, hit the
Num 5 key, select the
ScrollLinePageCenter and reassign that key.
I will fix that mapping issue at this end

My fundamental problem was that I didn't actually have one of the Brief emulations selected. It's not at all intuitive (to me) that one has to press the 'Active' button to select the highlighted emulation. The 'home-home' and 'home-home-home' key combinations now work as expected. I have also reassigned the numeric keypad 5 as you indicated. Thanks.
