Hi Jussi,
Do I need to Purchase an Upgrade to go from v3.97o to v3.97p?
v3.97p is not accepting my v3.97o license key, (originally purchased on 14 Jun 2011 and then
replaced by you with another key on the 31 Oct 2012 to be compatible with v3.97m).
Regards,
Rat.

If you are on running the
'm' version then it's a free upgrade to the
'n' and/or 'o' versions.

Things new to the 'p' version are things like improved debugger support for the Go, Lua and Python languages, an upgrade of the Python engine, an upgrade of the Go tags database, some new scripting and keyboard functions, some new macro scripts and any minor bugs as and when they are reported.
There are also a hand full of performance and folding bugs that I have fixed, identified through my day to day use of Zeus.
But I can't recall a single crash being fixed in the latest 'o' version.
That does not mean there are not issues. There has been a folding crash reported, but that bug still exists in the current version as I have not been able to replicate the crash.
In other words the latest release contains far more new features than bug fixes.
But if you know of a crash or major problem with on of the recent Zeus releases please report it and you will get a free upgrade.

I'm keen to trial the improvements in the code-folding which has been causing me some grief with various files.
I'm quite happy to purchase an upgrade license if its required... I was just seeking some clarification.
p.s. The only crashes I sometimes get is when I run Zeus on Linux under Wine as a normal user instead of root... (pretty sure this wouldn't qualify me for a free upgrade

)

I'm keen to trial the improvements in the code-folding which has been causing me some grief with various files.
The new version has three changes for code folding.
The first is a fix for the opening of fold points, which in the previous version was much slower than in this latest version.
But you would only really notice the slow down if the folded line being unfolded contained many thousands of lines.
The other two changes are two new functions designed to make it easier to find the parent fold point from a given child line location.
All these fixes came about because I was running into a few frustrations trying to navigate a massive XML file.
As I mentioned earlier, there has be one reported crash related to folding, but to date I have not been able to replicate that crash
The only crashes I sometimes get is when I run Zeus on Linux under Wine as a normal user instead of root...
Next time you hit the crash see if a ZeusErr.log and ZeusErr.dmp file are created if they are send them through to me and I'd be happy to see if they indicate a problem with Zeus or a problem with Wine.

Will do...
So back to my original query: How can I upgrade from "o" to "p"?
