2009 license key invalid for 397n

I have a 2009 registration key (order # 11964085, 22/05/2009) and am trying to install Zeus 3.97n on my computer (after a rebuild - XP SP3), but Zeus won't accept the registration key.
Should It?
I'm installing from www.zeusedit.com/z300/ze32v397n.zip as I'd rather avoid installing 3.96s and then applying all the patches one at a time.
