would like a way to turn these items off. indentation marks can only be turned off by making them the same fg/bg color as white space but this does not truly work because the highlight current line makes them visible again.

making highlight current same fg/bg as normal text also does not work because the instant you make any line with a comment current the highlight shows again.

both of these these should have switches to disables the features.

You can turn off these indent marks by going to the General section of the doucment type un-check the Display line indents option
