I am new to Zeus, trying to find a find a replacement for an old friend: CodeWright.

I have been reassigned to a new project involving MATLAB and need to work with .m files. Hoping someone could point me to some prior posts on the general topic of adding new document types.

Also interested if there is a place for user submissions for new document types or other configuration extensions, perhaps organized by document type, that have already been worked out and can be imported.

Thanks! Jon

Hi Jon,
I am new to Zeus, trying to find a find a replacement for an old friend: CodeWright.

Welcome aboard :)
Hoping someone could point me to some prior posts on the general topic of adding new document types.

There is a Quick Start Guide in the Zeus help that covers these sorts of details.

To get to the guide select Using and Configuring Zeus which can be found on the Zeus, Help menu.

From that guide I copied the links below that should answer this particular question:

Creating a Document Type
Configuring a New Language
Also interested if there is a place for user submissions for new document types or other configuration extensions
Unfortunately not :(

But if you end up configuring a MATLAB setup that you like, feel free to contact me by e-mail and I will work with you to add the type to the official Zeus installer.

Cheers Jussi
PS: If you find that Zeus does not do MATLAB code folding, feel free to post a message to the code folding section of the forum requesting this enhancement.
