Is there "Insert comment" and "Remove comment

Post by dscharkss »

In many editors, one can highlight many lines of text and with one button press, the entire section is commented out/commented in. I don't seem to find something in Zeus that will do that? Is there something? If so, how do I set that up so I can use it with the char I set for the comment line value?

If so, does Zeus allow the user to create new buttons for the toolbar and to assign a command or macro to them?

Thank you.

In the Macros menu there is are the Add Line Comment and Remove Line Commen menus that do exactly what you describe.

The values used for the comments are defined in the commentText.lua file found in the zScript folder.

It is possible to a a macro to the toolbar (search the forum for toolbar) but it is not as easy as adding a macro to the menu, popup menu or to a key combination.
