When I make a change to how SAVE works (Cntl-S) I cannot make that same change become associated with the Save Icon nor the menu. I would not expect to see the menu changed. You need a way to use the original programming tools. But could you make it so the Icons can also be bound to code?
I could bind my modified SAVE to a user tool, but all the user tool icons are identical. Could you give a dozen different icons so I can identify which one I'm using?

The menu and toolbar configuration options in Zeus are not as good as they should be and as you have found, they are pretty much hard coded
But the problem is the keyboard, menu and toolbar are all inter-related and the design for these features dates back to the very first versions of Zeus.
Naturally it is possible to rework this code to make it more user configurable, but there is a lot of code tied up in these three features and at present there is no time for this amount of development effort
Cheers Jussi

OK then perhaps it would be more simple to let me choose the icon I want to use. Then when I replace say the SAVE icon with a MACRO (which I can do now), I could use the SAVE icon in it's place.
Or 2nd best..
At least have the help message be the menu item I enter for that macro rather than the generic 'Run Macro'
