I have been able to get zeus up and running to evaluate the cvs support and couple questions related to it have come up:

#1: We work in a mode where files are checked out read only and we need to cvs edit/unedit as appropriate. I see no way to do a cvs edit on the current document?

#2: Seems like cvs has to work off the active document. Is there a way to do Project/workspace level commands such as checking out a whole project/updating all the source in the project/committing all the files in a project? I looked at right click on the project menu and did not see anyting. It seems several cvs options are disabled if no active document...

With ever file check out/check, the Zeus SCC-CVS will automatically do an edit/un edit operation. To enable/disable this behaviour use the Options, Editor Options menu, go to the Source Control Panel and select the Advanced Options button.

NOTE: The Advanced Options button only works for the currently active version control, so make sure the Zeus SCC-CVS is set as the currently active version control.

Is there a way to do Project/workspace level commands such as checking out a whole project/updating all the source.

A project update is automatically done when a workspace is opened and once again this behaviour is controled by the Advanced Options button, but the Zeus SCC-CVS does not support any project level check outs/check ins etc.

But it should be easy enough implement these features using a Zeus tool or macro. The other option is to uses something like WinCVS and define this tool as the CVS Project Manager once again found in the Advanced Options section.

This is entry field defines a command line that can be run from within Zeus via the Workspace, Source Control Activate menu.
