Lately I've noticed an appreciable delay between the completion of the write during a save and removal of the * on the tab and later the title bar. I don't recall this ever taking any noticeable amount of time before. This may have started with 3.96q, but I'm not certain.
It's not a big deal, but is mildly annoying when everything else feels so responsive most of the time.
If the file is being saved to a network location, it can sometimes take time before the server to replies to Zeus's request for the file status information.
