Hi Jussi,
Previous post didn't seem to take so I'm trying again. Sorry if this ends up posted 2x.
This sequence fails every time.
set a bookmark
navigate somewhere else in same file and select a block of text
return to the bookmark via Control-B, etc
type and you return to and overwrite the selected block text

Hi Jack,

type and you return to and overwrite the selected block text
The reason this is happening is beacuse in the keyboard defintion
Key press removes mark option is enable.
So I think it's working as designed

Hi Jussi,
This might be the design, but it is very un-intuitive. I expected navigation via bookmarks to behave the same as navigation via cursor keys , unselect the text and then move the cursor.
I can live with this but I do see this as a bug ( whether it is a design or impementation bug).
Thanks for the quick response!

I think you might be correct. I will change it so the bookmark goto works like a mouse click and a cursor movement and removes the marking
