Bug creating a new file

I always seem to find the oddball ones.

A couple of times I have been needing to create a new file in Zeus. Since I can't open a non-existant file I usually cheat and go to DOS and do something along the lines of

C:\> z newfile.ext

And then flip back to Zeus to do my editing.

However, lately, when I try this, the file that Zeus opens up is marked (RO) and therefore I can't edit it. Fortunately I can do a Save and it seems to be happy writing out the empty file, at which point I can edit away.

Just thought I'd mention it.

In the Options, Editor Options menu there is the File to open must exist option.

I suspect if you un-tick this option, Zeus will open the file and mark the non-existent file as writable ;)

And that got it! Dunno how I missed it both at work and at home. I was *sure* I always had it cleared. Oh well, me happy now!
