While I love the editor, there is one minor behavour I hate. There should be more defaults stored with a workspace. When I open a workspace, I would like the following:

1) default directory for open, save as, etc should be the workspace directory. I always have to naviagate on the first open or save as. If the first action is a save as, I often save to the wrong directory and have to move the file.

2) The files I left open in a work space should close when I leave the workspace and re-open when I re-open the workspace. If you think everyone wouldn't like this, maybe an option to select this.

This is similar to the operation of the Borland IDE's

This is really good idea and whats better is I suspect it should be quite simple to implement Consider it done.

I will have a look at what is involved in implementing this feature. I think it should be doable

If you think everyone wouldn't like this, maybe an option to select this.

Zeus already has the MRU list attached to workspace option. This feature can be attached to this option and the wording of the option changed to something like Maintain state in workspace.
