Oem Character set - writing and lines

We are evaluating Zeus editor and we have the following problem. We have a clipper-xharbour prg file typed in OEM - Greek 437 character set. Even with terminal font we can see greek letters and also the lines (box characters) but its not possible to write in Greek. If we try to use Let's say courrier fonts its possible to view-write-save in OEM Greek 437 but it's not possible to view the box characters. Any hints?
Thanks in advance

Hi Mike,
In the
Options Editor Options menu,
Fonts panel there is
Language dropdown list.
If you select
Greek option from this list does it help

Hi Mike,
As a test I selected the
Terminal font with the
Greek language conbination but at least on my machine this resulted in an Arial font rather than Terminal font being generated. I think this is the Windows font mapper trying to find the closest fitting font, since no exact matching font was available.
Unfortanetly this is an issue since the Arial font choosen is proportional and Zeus only supports monospaced fonts

Hi Jussi,
We have problem either way. If we use Terminal font with OEM character set we can see lines and Greek but its not possible to write in Greek. If we use Courier font (with proper read translation in the configuration) we can see Greek write Greek but its not possible to display lines. Also if we use Greek language we have the same problem as you (Arial maybe font and greek characters - lines displayed as garbage.
Thanks in advance

Hi Mike,
If you use another program to edit the file (i.e
Notepad, WordPard, Word or some other text editor) is is possible to edit the Greek chracters and also display the lines correctly
If so, which tool allows you to do this and what font settings does it have defined
Also if you send me a small sample text file (i.e. use e-mail button below) containing Greek and lines I would be happy to do some testing into this issue.

This issue related to the fact that the user was entering
Greek characters in
UTF-8 format and that version of Zeus did not support
UTF-8 files
This issue has been fixed in the current Zeus version, since it does have full support for
UTF-8 files
