I use BriefEx keyboard mapping. When a block (alt+c) is highlighted and copied, and then pasted, the cursor ends up at the end of the block (if the block was on the same line) or it ends up on the next line below the lower right corner of the block (if multi-line). This is inconsistent behavior and not what I remember of brief, and not user friendly. The cursor should end up on the next line at the same position as the paste started. Then you can easily repeat the operation and insert the same text over and over on subsequent lines.
Also,
I would really like to see a parenthesis and braces closing highlighter so when I am scrolling along it will highlight the matching closing or opening parenthesis and/or braces.

Ralph
A few suggestions for the editor
Hi Ralph,

Unfortunately without some major rework it is quite difficult to add this type of flexibility to what is a fairly simple, but very stable colorizer engine
Cheers Jussi
Use the Zeus Options, Editor Options menu, General panel and check/uncheck the Brief Column Paste ModeWhen a block (alt+c) is highlighted and copied, and then pasted, the cursor ends up at the end of the block

I am reluctant to add these types of features to Zeus because they require changes to the Zeus colorizer engine. The design of the Zeus colorizer dates back to the days of MS-DOS Windows 3.x and as such it was always designed for speed and not flexibility.I would really like to see a parenthesis and braces closing highlighter so when I am scrolling along it will highlight the matching closing or opening parenthesis and/or braces.

Brace indication
Hi,
I'm new to the forum and just testing Zeus for the first time. It seems very nice, but like Ralph I miss the automatic brace indicators (automatically color or highlight the matching closing brace when the cursor is at the opening brace and other way round). I recognize that you can do it with control - ], but the highlight is on one side only and it makes the cursor move to the other brace, not always what I want. I saw Jussi's earlier reply and appreciate that it seems a trivial thing, but when dealing with a set of embedded brackets it really helps.
