Having used Zeus for a few days now I am happy enough that I purchased it yesterday. I hope I am not being too much of a pest as I work my way through the learning curve.
I just realized that my backup files are being saved in a Zeus folder. Under Editor Options/Backup I tried entereing a . (dot) in the "Alternative backup directory". That has the problem of saving the backup in the local folder even if it is not the one where the file is. Is there any way to simply have the backups always saved to the same folder as the original?
I am saving all files with the extension changed to .BAK.
Thanks,
John.
Saving Backup files in the Original Folder
Hi John,
Feel free to ask as many questions as you like.
Zeus will definitely take some time to learn, but the good thing about posting your questions to this forum is you might also be helping other Zeus users in the process
Just use the $fdd macro tag as the alternative backup directory. This macro tag gets replaced by the files drive and directory details.
Cheers Jussi
