Is there a way to keep the mark after I hit Ctrl-C (copy)?

Is there a way to keep the mark after I hit Ctrl-C (copy)?
Options, Editor Options menu, Keyboard mapping, edit active mapping and uncheck the Cut/Copy removes marks option.
