Bolivio,

This is not a good place for discussing ACL. Try the "adepters" mailing list. You have to sign up as a list member first.

If your company is interested to pay for consulting, feel free to contact me at "karl.johan@kleist-it-consulting.de". I have more than five years full time expericence ...

Installed, although not installed?

I'm currently evaluating "Liquid XML Studio" and got a surprise when opening its option dialog "Select Source Control Provider".

One of the listed plug-ins were "Zeus SCC-CVS". And this although I haven't installed "Agent SVN".

Searching for "Zeus SCC-CVS" in the registry reveals:

Keymap "Alt+Ctrl+N" > Nav.ViewToggle fails if n

3.97g

I've mapped "Alt+Ctrl+N" to NavigatorViewToggle. The keymapping works fine if the Navigator is docked.

But if it's undocked and visible, it seems that the Alt key is "swallowed", and a new tab is opened (as if I'd pressed "Ctrl+N").

Documentation error? Line Marking Mode: Ctrl or Alt?

Hi down under! Just a trivial documentation issue:

User Manual > General Editing Features > Text Marking
Line Marking Mode

To mark a line text region using the mouse hold down the Ctrl key
while holding down the left mouse button and moving the mouse cursor.

Shouldn't that be "the Alt key ...

For the posterity: keyword information file

I haven't found out how to create an attachment, so here is a "keyword information file" for ACL (Arbortext Command Language). Import it from the "Keywords" tab on the Document Type Properties dialog:

Solved: Spaces in filename was the culprit

If I removed the spaces in the filename suggested by Zeus, navigated away from the suggested folder (e.g. to Desktop), and then clicked "Open"... it worked!

Maybe an FAQ for this would be helpful?

Thanks for your fast reply (as always), Jussi!

No matter which folder I navigate to, the button is labeled "Open" (instead of the expected "Save").

[Windows 7] Export of Keyword File impossible

Hi Jussi and all Zeus fellows,

It seems that one can't export a .zki file in Windows 7.

1. Menu Options/Document Types, edit any document type

2. On the Keywords tab, klick the Export button

3. The resulting "Keyword Export" dialog has an "Open" button. I find no way to save a .zki file.

Has ...

Sorry for not having replied until now, Jussi.

I've verified the registry setting for "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ZeusDocument\shell\open\command".

Changing the double quotes round %1 to single quotes makes no difference.

 When opening the file with an already running Zeus using "Open with ...

Hello again Jussi,

I've found something pretty odd...

If I start Zeus, and after that chose "Open with..." / "Programmer's Editor for Windows" from the file's context menu in Explorer, then the file opens fine :!:

Not if I (double)click on the file though.

Drag-and-drop to the Zeus window works ...

Opening file with UTF-8 encoded name from Explorer fails

[Zeus 3.97e / Windows 7 SP1 64 bit]

Trying to open a file with a UTF-8 encoded name (like "räksmörgås.txt") from the Windows Explorer fails. The same if a file with an ascii name resides in a directory with a UTF-8 encoded name.

If the file is simply (double)clicked, nothing happens, i.e. no error ...

The icon for "Xidicone Zeus Document" files displayed by Windows Explorer looks just fine.

I was referring to the icon shown in the taskbar and in the Start Menu. It contains the text "ZEUS" and "32", and three differently colored balls on a squared game board /"Go?"/).

How to modify the icon in "zeus.exe"?

Dear fellow Zeus fans,

The single biggest whart of Zeus is, in my humble opinion, the ugly icon embedded in "zeus.exe". Has anybody had more success than I've had with "Axialis IconWorkshop™" (http://axialis.com/iconworkshop)?

That program corrupted the .exe file, and made it grow from 790 kB to 3 ...
