Code folding

Post by Mark Peenstra » Tue Jun 23, 2009 1:34 pm

Jussi;

I think we are there. There is an inconsistency allowed by the program that the END CONSTRUCT is optional (in some cases). If you have a CONSTRUCT and no END CONSTRUCT, the folding of course goes beyond where it should, but there is no way to tell it where to stop.

We will just have to be aware of this and put in the End Construct if we see that it is folding too far.

Thanks for all your help. This will be a nice addition to the editor for us!
Mark

PS: Is there a way in a macro or a keystroke to have it fold or unfold all of the folding points? Like if you are editing a file, and want to view the whole thing without any folded sections. It looks like you can save and close the file and then reload it and this will happen.
Thanks

See the view, folding menu.

Also since all of the main menus map to a keyboard function, anything that can be done via the menu can also be done via the keyboard or macro.

The easiest way to find out which keyboard function maps to what menu is to use the macros menu to record a macro, use the the menu in question, stop the recording and then view the source of the macro using the macros, view source menu.

There is an option to open all folds on the menu qutoed above ;)
