Great! I used to have a little setup (scripts and toolbars) on my old text-editor (GoldED for AmigaOS), that would do ASCII drawing, so I could create diagrams for UseNet and Email. Nice macro!

Maybe I should add, that I tried using the Windows Script Debugger in another way first (the //X option of wscript.exe/cscript.exe runs the script in the debugger)

Command-line (as the compiler, however)

Code: Select all

"C:\Windows\system32\csript.exe" //X "$fn"
Result:

Code: Select all

--------------------Configuration: ActiveScript - Debug--------------------
Die Syntax f￾r den Dateinamen, Verzeichnisnamen oder die Datentr„gerbezeichnung ist falsch. (Syntax for Filename, Pathname or Devicename is wrong)

Unexpected error running command line:
"C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe" /c "C:\Windows\system32\cscript.exe" //X "NOT:\posting\Full Path Names\to my data\in\public\forums\convert-archive.js"
Note, that the path is ok, I mean, I get it via $fn.

Using Windows Script Debugger ?

I think the service is called mdm.exe, the application (client?) I am referring to is the "Windows Script Debugger", called msscrdbg.exe, somewhat older, but all MS has given us in this regards for free. As I see it, there must be some binary handler for a debugger, the debugger must have an interfa...

Creating a Template from Marked Block ?

Is it possible to mark a block and add it as a template to the current file-configuration ?

I would like to write a macro, that just does this, but I did not find any such command.

That's fully sufficient! Don't need a GUI for this. :-) Thanks.
I was surprised to see IronPython and Powershell support there.

Folding unavailable for HTA ?

Hello Jussi, I cloned my Zeus HTML configuration and renamed it to produce a new filetype config for Microsoft HTA (HTML Applications), which basically are HTML with an additional namespace (<HTA:...>) and different security levels for ActiveScripting. So, for Zeus it is HTML. But even if I add HTA ...

Okay, I have played around a little. Here are the steps to reproduce: Set default scripting engine to jscript. Create new text-file, paste some text into it. Record a macro. Run it via F8. <- Boom! Macro breaks. The last macro I recorded, which definitley breaks on my system is attached. I have zipp...

Did this happen after running Zeus constantly for a long while :?: Could be ;-) However, it happens each time I use it, so also after rebooting the machine, starting Zeus anew. I did a search of the Web and did come across a few reports suggesting the WSH JScript does leak memory. At least it is we...
